Your donors no longer have to choose between a one-time gift and a monthly commitment. We can now enable quarterly and annually as recurring giving options on your fundraiser checkout and sponsorship profiles.
Once enabled, the new frequency options appear automatically across all of your fundraisers that accept recurring donations and all of your sponsorship profiles. Your donors simply select their preferred schedule at checkout — one time, monthly, quarterly, or annually.
In order to prevent any recurring giving confusion, this is not turned on by default during this rollout phase.

What Your Donors Will See
Once enabled, donors will see the available frequency options displayed as toggle buttons on the checkout screen — Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually.
- Monthly — The donor's recurring donation is processed once per month.
- Quarterly — The donor's recurring donation is processed once every three months.
- Annually — The donor's recurring donation is processed once per year.

This feature works across all payment methods including Credit Card, Apple Pay, PayPal, and PayPal Bank Transfer.
What You'll See in Your Dashboard
Recurring donations will reflect the donor's selected frequency in your Donations tab. You'll be able to see whether a donor is giving monthly, quarterly, or annually.
Things to Know
- This is opt-in. Quarterly and annually options will not appear on your checkout unless you request they be enabled.
- Donors choose their own frequency. Once enabled, the selection is made by the donor at the time of checkout.
- Recurring donations run until cancelled. Regardless of frequency, a donor's recurring gift will continue on schedule until it is cancelled or there is a payment method issue.
- Changing frequency requires a new donation. If a donor wants to switch frequencies, they would need to cancel their existing recurring donation and set up a new one.
