Within our sponsorship program, you have the ability to have your child appear as active or inactive. Every child starts out marked as active. You can change your child to inactive for safety reasons, management issues, or other specific reasons. Any child that is inactive will remain in your sponsorship dashboard but won't appear on any public profile.
Follow the steps below to learn how to use the inactive/active feature.
STEP 1: From your dashboard, click sponsorship on the far left column. Next, select the sponsorship program that contains the profile that you want to edit.
STEP 2: Select the gear icon next to 'Sponsorship Actions' and select 'Inactivate' or 'Activate' depending on whichever you're doing.
