If you have downloaded your statement and believe that donations are missing, please go through our checklist below to determine if one of the exceptions apply to you before contacting the help desk.
Reasons donations might not show on your statement:
- Have your or your spouse given under a different email?
If so, you will receive separate year end statements for donations tied to each email address. Please check both accounts.
- Did you donate by check?
If you donated by check and did not include an email or donor ID on the check, your donation will still be accounted for but not included on your online statement. Instead, an End of Year Statement will be mailed to the address associated with the check no later than January 31st.
- Did you give by ACH?
If you gave by ACH and did not include an email or donor ID, your donation will still be accounted for but not included on your online statement. Instead, an End of Year Statement will be mailed to the address associated with the ACH no later than January 31st.
- Did the nonprofit you support start using Pure Charity mid-year?
If your nonprofit switched to using Pure Charity to process their donations mid-year, your donations might be in two different locations. Pure Charity will only receipt for donations made directly through our system, therefore the nonprofit will receipt for any donations made before the switch to Pure Charity.
- Why am I missing individual receipts for donations?
Pure Charity only receipts for donations made online and those receipts are emailed to the email address associated with the donor's user account. PLEASE DO NOT BE ALARMED! Your donation still counts! Any other donations will be included on your End of Year Statement.
